The recent Sichuan earthquake reminds me of somethg. I rmb somewhr in dec last yr, i read qt a few articles regarding the famous fortune tellers' predictions of the yr 2008. It was predicted that the yr 2008 is qt an unlucky yr. A lot of mishaps will take place. Furthermore, the chinese said that this yr is a blind yr (盲年）. I cant rmb exactly what did the fortune tellers predict, but the recent happenings did prove that this yr is rather a bad yr.
Snow storm. Sand storm. Abnormal weather changes. US recession. Shortage of rice. Tibet protest. The Myanmar cyclone. Sichuan earthquake.
Well, i hope i can stop here. No more counting. Now is now even half past the yr of 2008 n so many bad thgs have taken place. haiz~ Frankly speaking, at this moment, all the Chinese in China should be feeling proud n happy n celebrating their hosting of the 2008 Olympics. Nobody expect things to turn out so dramatic (but mayb some fortune tellers did expected). But dont u find it weird? How come China is so suay recently?? Dont forget.. they r recently insulted by the CNN reporter n they demanded a USD1 compensation to every single China resident. So, is the god trying to help the CNN reporter to reduce the compensation amt??
Btw, Myanmar very cool yeah.. very "sud".. rejected all the aids n helping hands. y? what's the reason?
As for China, a lot of monies, food n neccessities hv been donated to help them. I saw this meaning banner in the news " 一方遇灾，八方支援".
The earthquake has total disfigured the landscape n the properties. 3 dams r damaged n there's a risk of the low lying villages being flooded, casuing more death n damages. Earthquake is really terrible. I suddenly hv the urge to learn Geography. So that i can invent somethg that can prevent earthquakes from happening. I know that there's still no full stop for this Sichuan earthquake yet. I just sensed that somethg will followed. could it be a volcano eruption? hopefully not.
These few days, some fortune tellers came out to give their predictions again. They said that the lunar 4th & 5th month is the worst mth of the yr. Somethg will take place within the next 1 mth. Besides that, on the 17th nov, somethg bad is going to happen. Do u believe? I choose not to believe though.
